You are my being of light.
I love you
because you woke
and a breath took.
One day you’ll ask me,
when I knew I loved you.
My laugh will fill the space between us; as I tell you, there was never a time when I did not.

there is no stanza or line
to paint your soul, my prism;
for life is now a spectral whimsy,
You are my lightness of being.
