The idea is to create a touch rugby tournament that will run throughout and will be in celebration of the RWC. We want to bring people together as the Springbok slogan says “stronger together” while promoting a healthy body, healthy mind lifestyle by using rugby as a vehicle. This is also an opportunity to bring the gees and create a fan park like event thus bringing people together.
Dates
This will happen throughout the Springboks’ games precisely and right through to the semi-finals, the final will strictly be a fan park only. Should the Boks not make the play offs (god forbid) we will choose a team (eg all blacks since most cape townians support it) to carry the touch rugby through.
